In this final year project thesis an extended feasibility study is presented for a wireless IEEE 802.11n transmitter. More specifically, the physical layer of the IEEE 802.11n is presented and compared with the preceding standards of IEEE 802.11 family. Subsequently, the spectrum of the channel is being measured via simulation to show that it complies with the requirements. The Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) is simulated, by modifying the parameters of the IEEE 802.11n specifications, that determine the power statistics of the high level power of a digitally modulated signal. Finally, Εrror Vector Magnitude (EVM) measurements are presented by changing the specification parameters , which shows how much it affects the error of transmitted symbols(Preambles, Data, Pilot).
