Μελέτη και προσομοίωση της παραμόρφωσης ενός ευρυζωνικού σήματος στην έξοδο ενός ενισχυτή ισχύος

Abstract

Στην παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία γίνεται μια εκτενής αναφορά στη μελέτη των φαινομένων παραμόρφωσης ενός ευρυζωνικού σήματος στην έξοδο ενός ενισχυτή ισχύος. Αρχικά γίνεται μια αναφορά στις βασικές λειτουργίες του φυσικού στρώματος του πρότυπου ΙΕΕΕ 802.15.3a (Ultra Wide Band). Στη συνέχεια γίνεται μια εισαγωγή στους ενισχυτές ισχύος, στις κατηγορίες τις οποίες χωρίζονται και στις ιδιότητες που συναντούμε σε κάθε κατηγορία. Έπειτα αναφερόμαστε στη γραμμικότητα των ενισχυτών ισχύος, τον ρόλο που παίζει και τα είδη της παραμόρφωσης. Προχωρώντας παρουσιάζεται η εισαγωγή στη μοντελοποίηση των ενισχυτών ισχύος, και αναφερόμαστε στα κυριότερα μοντέλα με μνήμη και χωρίς μνήμη. Στο τέλος γίνεται επεξήγηση των αποτελεσμάτων της προσομοίωσης με τη χρήση της τεχνικής OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing).

On this thesis a thorough study is presented regarding the distortion of a wideband signal exiting a high power amplifier. At first there is a description of the fundamental functions of the physical layer of the 802.15.3a (Ultra Wide Band) IEEE standard. Right after that we present an introduction to power amplifiers fundaments. We classify tem in categories and explain the attributes of each category. In the following chapter we explain the linearity in power amplifiers, how important it is and the types of signal distortion. Moving on, we provide an introduction to the various mathematical models of power amplifiers a(models with memory or without memory). Finally, we present simulation results of wideband OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal at the output of a power amplifier and we comment the simulation results.
